our deacons

Stuart Campbell

Stuart Campbell is a dedicated servant of Jesus Christ and a member of Palm Beach Baptist Church. On September 19th, 1964 he was born on the Island of Nassau Bahamas as the 5th of 6 children. Since 2005, Stuart has been a member of Palm Beach Baptist church where he was first baptized.

He was raised in the Catholic church and went to a Catholic school in the Bahamas where He graduated before coming to the U.S. As a child He was told the story of Jesus but never knew that one could have a personal relationship with Him or the importance of having one. It was not until, his oldest brother, who had long since left the Catholic church and become born again, invited him to a Revival service at a Baptist Church that he truly realized that he was lost and in need of a savior. It was that very night that he surrendered his life to Christ. His life has changed as He knew it would and the words of the Apostle Paul comes to mind when he considers his journey, “I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

Stuart attends Harvest Discipleship Institute (HDI) for the purpose of growing in the knowledge of scripture, to foster a closer relationship with God, and to be able to rightly divide the word of truth. Stuart is active in evangelism and well as teaching the high school class of FTD. Stuart and Sharine are also over our hospitality ministry.

Stuart is a Licensed Insurance Agent married to his beautiful wife Sharine, a true woman of God and together they have five children, two boys Ray and Imri and three girls Shadia, Whitney and Stunique. They are also blessed with four grandsons Rayshon, Raymond and Ramon and Ramel. They give God the glory for all the great things he has done.

Stuart is honored, privileged, and blessed to have been selected for this post as a Deacon of PBBC and he prays that by the power of the Holy Spirit he can be an example of God’s light day-by-day.
